The North Carolina Business Committee for Education (NCBCE), housed in the Office of the Governor of North Carolina, is poised to provide ongoing support to ensure this notable student achievement continues. One way in which it does so is through raising awareness and discussion.
On Thursday, March 27 from 7:15 – 9:00 a.m., NASCAR Executives and the region's key business and education leaders will conjoin at NASCAR Technical Institute to participate in a discussion with the North Carolina Business Committee for Education. The conversation will be centered around education and workforce preparedness, and specifically, the shifting focus on education priorities necessary to prepare students for the new economy and global work environment. Thursday's breakfast will serve as a platform for NASCAR to announce their new High School STEM initiative with Universal Technical Institute and will help to set the stage for a larger conversation on the intersection of business and education.
